Having used a dog walker ourselves, we know what people want from a walker; someone who is reliable, honest, and trustworthy to care for their dog as if it were their own. We love dogs and enjoy seeing them happy sniffing about, wagging their tails, and enjoying running around with each other.
Our first dog, Trent, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was rescued at 18 months old in 2010, and was trained from a Pet Improver course to the Kennel Club Gold Award. He was nervous of some dogs, and due to experience and courses, Sue worked with Pets In Practise on their Reactive Rover training sessions. Trent sadly passed away in November 2022.
We rescued Tilly, a Doge de Bordeaux/Akita/American Bull Dog cross, in 2016 when Trent was 7 years old. She was an 8 month old puppy and attended a Pet Improver course. She is a calm dog and joins us on our group walks with small, medium, and large dogs.
Your dog will be collected from your home and taken to their walk for a full hour. Your dog will be returned accordingly with a rinse and a rub down, if necessary, even during the summer. We can also give your dog its breakfast/lunch/dinner if required and will check their water bowl. Note: If there is severe weather, such as gales, heavy snow, extreme heat, then we will contact you asap as we may need to change the walking time, provide a visit rather than a walk, or cancel.
We walk dogs, of any size, from the age of 12 weeks, singly or in a group of up to 4, in different locations around the Wokingham area. This provides your dog with the excitement of exploring new areas, sniffing being as mentally stimulating as running and playing. Our Facebook page has plenty of photos and videos to view.
Pricing depends on the requirement. A walking session will last for an hour although other time frames, such as 1/2 an hour, will be considered. Mileage is inclusive of the price.
Weekday Walks:
A solo walk is charged at £18 per hour.
For a group walk, the first dog is discounted to £15 per hour, and the second (from the same household) is £9 per hour.
Note: Any additional/special requirements will be considered and, if acceptable, will be priced accordingly.
